My story
Gigi was left behind after her humans were evicted, along with at least six other cats. Since several other cats from that situation have been adopted, Gigi has come to enjoy having her own space. She would be very happy as an only cat but is also accustomed to sharing space with other cats, just don't expect her to be another cat's best friend, she will only have eyes for people.
Gigi will sit at your feet and jump onto your shoulders if you lean down and make eye contact. She is usually pretty good with her claws when she does this, though we have been working on getting her to let us pick her up as she stands on her back legs. After coming from a place of food insecurity, she has put on some weight and she is still figuring out her new balance as a filled-out gal.
She is very food motivated, but also loves to play with toys, batting around plastic springs and meowing when she catches her prey.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gigi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
