Earl Grey- FIV+ Domestic Shorthair Young Female in Rochester, New York

My story

Ms. Earl Gray came to us as the runt, and now is the queen of all her siblings! She is a smart little leader and loves her sister Chai and foster brother Zagreus. She's spunky and lovable, she comes to you when she wants to cuddle and purrs as soon as you touch her. She would do best with Chai or Zagreus, but would also be ok with another kitten. She would do fine with kids and probably dogs.

 

Ms. Earl Gray tested FIV+ and will need to be retested at 6 months. Keller's will pay for the retest. FIV cats can live long and healthy lives and have similar life expectancies to their negative counterparts. They can also live with other negative cats, so long as they get along. The virus is spread through deep, penetrating bite wounds only and not casual play or sharing of space or supplies. FIV cannot be spread to humans or animals other than cats.
