Chai -FIV+ Domestic Shorthair Young Female in Rochester, New York

My story
Chai is small but mighty. Whenever there is a ruckus she is in the center of it, but she's such a cutie you can't even get mad at her. She loves to nuzzle faces and get as close to you as she possibly can. She loves her sister Ms. Earl Gray and will follow her around to copy what she does. She would do best with Ms. Earl Gray or Tiger. She would be fine with kids, other cats and probably dogs. 

 

Chai tested FIV+ and will need to be retested at 6 months. Keller's will pay for the retest. FIV cats can live long and healthy lives and have similar life expectancies to their negative counterparts. They can also live with other negative cats, so long as they get along. The virus is spread through deep, penetrating bite wounds only and not casual play or sharing of space or supplies. FIV cannot be spread to humans or animals other than cats.
