pleasure or trail horses for sale - (Ithaca for sale in Rochester, New York

Oxley Equestrian Center at Cornell University has a few horses for sale from their lesson and polo programs.
1. Nella- 13 yo, 15.1h chestnut TB mare with white socks and blaze. She is very responsive to your aids and well trained. She neck reins and direct reins. Since she has done polo she is desensitized to chaos and is very well behaved and calm. In addition, she is very tolerant of other horses and not mareish. However, since she is responsive I would not consider her a horse for beginners. She is sound. I have ridden her on trail and she is not the least bit spooky.
2. Tricky - 16yo, 15.3h dark bay TB gelding . We have been using him as a beginner horse in our pE lesson program but he doesn't like his left lead. However, he is very quiet and can tolerate the miscues and mistakes of beginners. HE is very level headed and the left lead would not be a problem on trails.
3. Bonnie, - 12yo Chestnut Tb mare 15.2h. Bonnie has only done polo but has a willing and cooperative personality. She has a ground covering trot and is well broke to neck reining.
4. Grapes - 13yo 16.1h Bay TB Gelding. Grapes came to us from an eventing background. HE did BN and Novice. We tried using him in our lesson program but did not do well with 5 or 6 different people riding him in a week. However, the Cornell Equestrian team used him for 7 months when one of their regular team horses was laid up and they loved him. He did well in both of their IHSA shows . HE is bold to his fences and very tolerant of bad riding. The team horse is back and now grapes needs to find a home. I had a price of $3000 on him but I will take offers. I can also send him out on trial.
