My story
Meet Nikko CLPDear Perspecktive Adopters,Foster Human keeps describing me as vocal. I looked up vocal in the dogtionary and it says it is a eufurmism for borks loudly. I wanna explain that I do borks a lot on two occasions. One is when I am playing and having a good ole time, basically yelling yeehaw and such. And two is when I first go into my crate, but then I am quiet as a mouse after a few minutes.Speaking of mouses, I am your classic case of the fable Country Mouse and the City Mouse, but in reverse, because instead of being a country mouse that visited the city mouse, I actually live in the city yet I am a somewhat country breed called an Australian Cattle dog. (Note to self: Use the dogtionary to figure out what is a cattle, likely some sort of cat by the sound of it.)Just like all the great country sangers that have gone pop like Taylor Swift, I am a country girl at heart and love to sing my little heart out. I am smaller than your average Cattle Dog and walk with a sassy tail wag at 10 months and 20 pounds. I wont grow too much more and I have a dainty physique.I havent met any cats head on, but I havent tried to chase any of the stray ones that Foster Human and I have passed by in the hood. I am GREAT with other dogs, like so great, that I hope you have one if you adopt me. And I also love kids a bunch too.I am potty trained and crate trained. I do need some how do you sayencouragement.to get into the crate and I will fuss about it for a bit, but then I settle it down for a snooze. I am active, hyper even, but this should be expected by humans that LOVE Australian Cattle Dog mixes, we are an active breed.I ended up at the City Pound waiting for my owners to claim me after being left at a dog park. Now it is appawrent that I might have been purposely lost at the dog park, as no one came to claim me.I am sooooo grateful to my Foster Human for saving me, so I give her all the hugs and kisses she desires. I also humor her on a game she calls fetch, she throws the ball, I get it, I return it, repeat. Foster Human seems to enjoy this, so I do it with her. I can do it with you too, if you adopt me.GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our puppies are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area.
